"I started working in my Father's studio in 2008. I have been around ceramics my entire life since my father has made his living as a potter for over 50 years. I share his studio in Carpenteria, CA and I spend as much time there as I can. My colors are original formulas created during the years I worked as a designer for a commercial ceramics company, as well as formulas my father has had for years.I love being in the studio creating and experimenting with my dad. I have only just started to explore what is possible with clay and am looking forward to continuing to create new shapes and colors." - John B. Scott
